How to glaze a bathtub

If you have a bathtub impaired, but not completely change your plans or budget, instead of choosing a new, you always have the option of  glazing the tub. This is a very economical alternative to renovate and decorate the bathroom. So let's see  how to glaze a bathtub in simple steps.

How to renew the bath

The first step is to remove with a screwdriver cap drain tub and faucet (if you are in the area to be glazed). Then start scraping the surface to remove the old caulk with a spatula or knife.

Then you clean the tub with a sponge and bathroom cleaner . When it is completely clean, you should dry the tub with a dry cloth or towel. And sanded the entire area of the tub with sandpaper, so will prepare the surface for glazing.

How to paint the tub

Then you sand the filler using the palm sander and sandpaper until smooth. Moreover, filling the electrical sprayer resin and apply a uniform layer on the entire surface of the tub. This will help the polish to stick, as it is as an adhesive layer.

While clean the sprayer, expects the resin to dry and re-fill the spray tank with primer. Apply an even layer of the resin, then sprayed a coat of polish and let dry overnight.

Finally, remove the rags and put everything in place. Remember that palm sander and other electrical items you can borrow, you need not buy them and, finally, do not use the tub for at least two days for the enamel to dry properly.
